Divorce Diaries Website and
Our Divorce Diaries website and E-Book bring together the real life advice and experiences of divorce and separation of over 25 of our former clients. The website includes top tips from our contributors for getting through the divorce process and a list of websites where you can find further help and support.
Get Back to Work!
Get back to work! Is this the attitude of family court judges towards non-working divorcees? It certainly seems to be so following the case of Wright v Wright. In that case, Lord Justice Pitchford said that divorcees with children aged over seven should go back to work.
Introducing our Thought Leadership Talks
During 2016 we launched a series of thought leadership talks on family related issues. The talks have examined a broad range of topics and are aimed at a wide audience including clients and former clients, family law professionals, journalists and members of the public. Summaries of our 2016 thought leadership talks are set out below:
The Impact of Divorce on the Extended Family
Can One Lawyer Help Both Parties?
Is Work Working for Families?
Attendance at the Thought Leadership talks is by invitation only.
Meet our Children Law Arbitrators
The Family Law Children Arbitration Scheme launched in July 2016 with Family Law in Partnership announcing that three senior lawyers - Gillian Bishop, James Pirrie and Felicity Shedden - had qualified as Children Law arbitrators. The new Children Scheme can be used to resolve a range of private law children disputes.
